My Pills Reminder is a medication tracking and scheduling tool. It helps you manage schedules, set pill reminders, track medication adherence history, and log refill dates.

Short version: The app is built with a privacy-first, on-device architecture. Your medication logs, doses, and schedules are stored locally on your device. We do not sell your health data, and we do not use your health information for targeted advertising.

2. Data We Collect

Depending on how you use the app, the following categories of data may be processed:

  • Medication tracking details: Medication names, dosages, frequencies, specific timing logs, adherence history (taken, skipped, late), and refill counts.
  • Profiles: Profile names or titles (e.g., family members, pets) to segment tracking schedules.
  • App preferences: Custom alert sounds, reminder frequencies, snooze configurations, and notification preferences.
  • Purchase and subscription status: Validation parameters, entitlements, and transaction details provided securely through Apple StoreKit and Google Play Services.
  • Support communication details: Your email address and message contents if you contact our customer support team directly.

3. Treatment of Sensitive Health Information

Information about your prescriptions, schedules, and pill adherence logs can be sensitive health-related information. We recognize the importance of this data and treat it with strict confidentiality.

We do not transmit your health logs to external databases for commercial, marketing, or profiling purposes. All data remains inside the application container or your private cloud environment under your direct control.

4. Storage, Sync, and Portability

Local Storage: By default, all tracking entries, logs, and profile setups are written to the local secure storage partition of your mobile device.

Private Cloud Sync: If you use Apple iCloud or Google Drive/Cloud backup features and enable them for this app, your data may sync across your devices via your private cloud account. We do not host or have direct access to your private iCloud or Google backup partitions.

Data Deletion: You can completely erase all health data at any time by deleting profiles within the app or uninstalling the app from your device.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We restrict third-party SDK integrations to essential operational services:

  • StoreKit / Play Billing: Purchases, entitlements, and subscription management are handled securely by Apple and Google.
  • Firebase Remote Config: Used to load remote setup values and configurations (no personal or medical information is shared).
  • Crashlytics / App Diagnostics: If you opt-in to share diagnostic data, anonymous crash logs are sent to help us troubleshoot system stability.

6. Your Choices and Control

  • You can enable or disable notification and camera permissions at any time via your device settings.
  • You can export your medication lists and history summaries to share with your primary care provider.
  • You can manage active auto-renewable subscriptions in your Apple ID or Google Play Account settings.

7. Family Use and Children's Privacy

If you create medication reminder profiles for children or individuals under your guardianship, you represent that you have legal authority to manage their health schedules. We do not knowingly solicit or collect data directly from children.

8. Updates and Contact Information

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect app revisions or regulatory shifts. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the latest modifications took effect.
