FlashSoft OU ("we," "us," or "our") develops and distributes MagicMacCleaner — a native, high-performance disk cleaning and developer maintenance utility designed exclusively for Apple Silicon (macOS 13+ / M1, M2, M3, M4 series). This Privacy Policy explains our uncompromising commitment to user privacy, data security, and local-only processing.

1. Absolute Zero-Telemetry & Zero-Ad Guarantee

MagicMacCleaner performs storage analysis, cache detection, duplicate identification, and developer maintenance 100% locally on your Mac. The application:

• Contains NO analytics SDKs, telemetry frameworks, tracking cookies, or network beacons.
• Contains NO advertising code, sponsored third-party bundles, or promotional scrapers.
• Does NOT upload, transmit, sync, or sell any personal data, file paths, project names, or system telemetry to external servers.
• Requires NO user account, email registration, cloud login, or authentication.

2. Local Data Processing & Permissions

To calculate reclaimable disk space and clean volatile caches, MagicMacCleaner interacts with your local file system under strict Apple sandbox and permission protocols:

• File Metadata: Reads file paths, sizes, inode timestamps, and SHA-256 hash segments solely to detect duplicates and calculate reclaimable gigabytes.
• Local SQLite Cache & FSEvents: Stores index metadata locally in ~/Library/Application Support/MacCleaner to accelerate repeated scans. This database never leaves your Mac.
• Full Disk Access (FDA): Deep scanning of Mail, Messages attachments, and system container caches requires Full Disk Access in macOS System Settings. This permission is optional, entirely controlled by the user, and can be revoked at any time.
• Dry-Run Reports: If you generate a pre-cleanup JSON audit report, it is saved strictly to the local directory you explicitly designate in Finder.

3. Safe Trash Handling & Data Recovery

Standard cleanups in MagicMacCleaner move selected items directly into the macOS Trash rather than executing permanent immediate deletion. This ensures full atomic restore capabilities. Only operations explicitly confirmed in the Advanced Tools menu with administrative privileges bypass the Trash, and these are clearly demarcated beforehand.

MagicMacCleaner complies fully with GDPR, CCPA, and Apple Developer Human Interface and Privacy Guidelines. Because no data is collected, your right to access, rectify, or erase data is inherently satisfied on-device.
